Dear ISTEC members and friends

The University of South Florida (USF) and ISTEC are proud to invite you to attend the XIV ISTEC General Assembly, which will take place on the week of November 30 - December 3, 2004 at USF facilities, located in Tampa, Florida, USA. The week’s events with begin with an ISTEC / Motorola “IT Challenge” on Tuesday, November 30 with the theme of “2020 Vision: Defining Tampa's International Economic Development Agenda”. On Wednesday / Thursday December 1-2, ISTEC will host specialized training workshops under the ISTEC initiatives, and on Friday December 3 we will hold the XIV GA. There will also be parallel sessions that include a Board of Directors Meeting, the ISTEC SALUD group, the ISTEC Latin American Grid group, and the ISTEC Los Libertadores entrepreneurship working session.

EVERYONE THAT REGISTERS BEFORE NOVEMBER 19 IN ANY OF THE R&D WORKSHOPS WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY OF PARTICIPATE IN A RAFFLE OF A HEWLETT PACKARD IPAQ.

Estimados miembros y amigos de ISTEC

El Consorcio Iberoamericano para la Educación en Ciencia y Tecnología (ISTEC) y University of South Florida (USF) se complacen en invitarle a la XIV Asamblea General de ISTEC, que se llevará a cabo la semana del 30 de noviembre al 3 de diciembre de 2004 en las instalaciones de USF, ubicada en Tampa, Florida, EEUU. La jornada de la semana de la AG comenzará con un “IT Challenge” Motorola / ISTEC el día martes 30 de noviembre, bajo la temática de “2020 Vision: Defining Tampa's International Economic Development Agenda”. Los días Miércoles / Jueves 1-2 de diciembre serán dedicados a talleres especializados bajo las iniciativas de ISTEC, y el Viernes 3 de diciembre se realizará la XIV AG de ISTEC. Paralelamente, se llevarán a cabo sesiones de la Junta Directiva y los grupos de ISTEC-SALUD, ISTEC Grid América Latina, y el grupo de emprendedores Los Libertadores.
