Principal outcome of this event will be to spur a statewide strategy for
generating and supporting collaborative activities among academia, industry,
government, and other public sectors within New Mexico to promote community
and rural development through the use of ICT. Additional, an overarching
goal of this event is to challenge community groups to use ICT as a tool
that can contribute to a bottom-up approach to cultural and socioeconomic
development that is created by rather than for community members.
