| World Engineering Education Forum |
|
Dr. Ramiro Jordan represented ISTEC in the World Engineering Education Forum (WEEF) held on October 17 – 21st, 2010 in Singapore. The IFEES-Americas/EftA Strategic Plan and the Energy, Entrepreneurship, and Engineering Education for Sustainability (E4S) Initiative were presented to several Engineering Deans from Latin America, as well as to a broader global audience.
Dr. Jordan participated in the consolidation of the Latin American and Caribbean Global Engineering Deans Council Chapter (GEDC). As a result, a close collaboration with the Student Platform for Engineering Education Development (SPEED) is being develop to engage students in Engineering education, R&D, en entrepreneurial activities.
Dr. Jordan was re-elected for another year as VP-Americas of IFEES. He is also a member of the IFEES Executive Committee, and was recently invited to be a member of the IFEES-GEDC Strategic Plan Committee.
