The GEO project involves the mapping of energy infrastructure world-wide, including electricity producing facilities (coal, nuclear, gas, hydraulic), transmission lines, and levels/areas of contamination. This project is under deployment at the Los Alamos National Lab, Los Alamos, NM. Sensitive to the issue of environmental sustainability and global warming trends, Istec plans to offer its member institutions an opportunity to contribute to this important initiative.
