La participaci\u00f3n es libre y gratuita para profesionales vinculados al \u00e1mbito de las ingenier\u00edas, pero requiere <a href=\"https:\/\/register.gotowebinar.com\/register\/3790965856981707019\">registraci\u00f3n previa<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>El webinar ser\u00e1 dictado por el <strong>Dr. Ramiro Jord\u00e1n<\/strong>, presidente de <strong>IFFES<\/strong> y fundador del <strong>ISTEC<\/strong>, donde es miembro del Consejo Directivo y director de la iniciativa <strong>Los Libertadores<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>El horario de realizaci\u00f3n del evento, de acuerdo a cada pa\u00eds, ser\u00e1 el siguiente:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>6 am Nuevo M\u00e9xico (Estados Unidos), Centroam\u00e9rica y M\u00e9xico<\/li>\n<li>7 am Colombia, Per\u00fa, Ecuador y Panam\u00e1<\/li>\n<li>8 am Bolivia y Venezuela<\/li>\n<li>9 am Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Brasil y Paraguay<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cDefinimos la Ingenier\u00eda para la Paz como la aplicaci\u00f3n intencional del pensamiento sist\u00e9mico de los principios de la ciencia y la ingenier\u00eda, con el objetivo de promover y apoyar directamente las condiciones para la paz. El proyecto \u2018Peace Engineering\u2019 trabaja directamente hacia un mundo donde se afiancen y desarrollen la prosperidad, la sostenibilidad, la equidad social, el esp\u00edritu empresarial, la transparencia, el compromiso y la participaci\u00f3n de la comunidad, la \u00e9tica y una cultura de calidad\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Ramiro Jord\u00e1n, con motivo de la presentaci\u00f3n del webinar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLos ingenieros tienen el poder de desempe\u00f1ar un papel vital en las soluciones creativas que tienen la capacidad de transformar radicalmente y mejorar el bienestar de las personas y otros sistemas vivos, d\u00eda a d\u00eda. El foco de Peace Engineering se encuentra en el futuro sostenible de nuestro planeta, que est\u00e1 llamando a los l\u00edderes a actuar en forma coordinada, desde una mentalidad de sistemas. Es un llamado a desarrollar soluciones de manera diferente: es decir, en colaboraci\u00f3n, integrando pericia transdisciplinaria y programas de educaci\u00f3n, y aplicando soluciones tecnol\u00f3gicas al mismo tiempo que se respalda la \u00e9tica, la pol\u00edtica y los sistemas vivos\u201d, explic\u00f3 el presidente de IFEES y director de la iniciativa Los Libertadores de ISTEC.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAdem\u00e1s, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de abordar los desaf\u00edos de hoy, debemos cultivar juntos el desarrollo de l\u00edderes que forman parte de la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n, para continuar gestionando el impulso. La ingenier\u00eda para la paz es una nueva mentalidad disruptiva que se necesita para enfrentar los desaf\u00edos globales\u201d, precis\u00f3 Jord\u00e1n, invitando a quienes participen del webinar para que hagan su aporte sobre el significado que para cada uno tiene el concepto de Peace Engineering.<\/p>\n<p>El Dr. Ramiro Jordan es un cient\u00edfico, innovador, educador y empresario reconocido internacionalmente. Es miembro del departamento de Ingenier\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica e Inform\u00e1tica (ECE) de la Universidad de Nuevo M\u00e9xico y actualmente es Decano Asociado de Ingenier\u00eda para Programas Internacionales y Presidente Asociado de Ingenier\u00eda El\u00e9ctrica e Inform\u00e1tica para Programas de Pregrado. Sus actividades de investigaci\u00f3n incluyen sostenibilidad, Smart Grid, radio cognitiva, procesamiento de se\u00f1ales multidimensionales y desarrollo de software.
